Berkeley's state quarterfinalists started their 08/09 with a road trip to Chicago for the annual Whitney Young Tournament.

This round robin event featured some of the toughest teams in America, including nationally-ranked host Whitney Young.

Traveling north to take on stiff competition proved to be a great learning experience for the young Lady Bulldogs. Evidence of their growth was obvious in MS-B's first 2 area contests.
